Constant Interruption is a collection of sound art and noise recordings by Seth A Smith, captured over various live performances in the spring of 2022. Sounds were generated by playing custom-made acoustic instruments and sound sculptures, installed in the remote, forested exteriors of West Pennant, Nova Scotia | Kjipuktuk.

The record was designed to give temporary relief to those suffering from tinnitus, using a wide frequency range to activate the entire hearing palate. The pieces were inspired by Smith’s own tinnitus caused by hearing loss, and their creation served as a means of sound therapy for him. For hearing safety, please avoid long exposure listening, and loud levels.
